Team Unbreakable Kincardine Race Elgin Market Huron Heights Ripley-Huron

Summary of: About 550 students join in Team Unbreakable Run in Kincardine - May 19, 2025

More than 550 students from Kincardine District Senior School, Kincardine Township-Tiverton Public School, and Huron Heights Public School recently came together for a community run in support of youth mental health.

Following a group warm-up at the Ecole Elgin Market, students set out on either a three-kilometre walk or a five-kilometre run through town. The walk route took participants along the boardwalk, past the Kincardine Lighthouse, and under both the Huron Terrace and Queen Street bridges before returning to the school for medals and refreshments. Those opting for the run completed a scenic route to the beach, through Geddes Park and the local trails.

The event was part of the Team Unbreakable program, which encourages youth mental wellness through physical activity and community engagement.
